A Sunday drive…
Spent another Sunday afternoon driving around Connecticut with Maureen in search of historic places, town greens and interesting sights. Drove toward the quiet corner in search of three or four new towns for Maureen’s search of Connecticut’s 169.
The eastern side of Connecticut is charming farm land with red barns, rolling hills and plowed fields. Along the way we drove toward Sterling and saw a sign for Ekonk Turkey Hill Farm Ice Cream and decided to take a diversion.
